Welcome to the Natural Adventure Mom community! I’m excited to have you here . This Adventure Co-Op was created to share my love of adventure, new experiences, nature, natural living, community, homeschooling, and motherhood. Our weekly, community adventures will help children learn and experience many new things, make new friends, stay active, while excited for all that this world has to offer! Each week, the older kids will go on two field trips all over the upstate, as a small, drop-off group. The younger kids and their parents will meet at new places during the week, all over the upstate, and build a community at the same time.

Night Owl Homeschool Social Club

Location:

Upstate

Description:

This is a social group open to ALL homeschoolers in Upstate SC. This group specifically addresses the needs of homeschool families who want socialization opportunities for their homeschooled children but are unable to attend weekday/daytime meetings of traditional homeschool groups & Co-ops.
Are you a working homeschool parent who cannot meet during the daytime/weekdays. Does your family schedule operate better with activities in the evenings and on the weekends? This group is for you!
Let's get our kids socialized in a way that meets us where we are in our homeschool journey. Homeschooling looks different for every family and I believe we should have a local group that matches this need for those of us that are just a bunch of Night Owls. 🦉

This is a weekly meet up group on Wednesdays, 11am - 1pm for homeschool moms and kids to hike and explore nature in the Okatie, Beaufort, Bluffton area. Some days we will to do “field trips” and explore beyond this radius.
This group provides kids an opportunity to play, explore and learn naturally in a community style, outdoor environment. Open-ended play and exploration while sprinkling in some natural (and sometimes coordinated) learning in a relaxed way. We aim to preserve the adventure, freedom and wonder of childhood.
This isn’t your typical play date group. The goal is to consistently attend for children to foster meaningful relationships while being “wild + free” and for moms to build relationships and encourage one another in our homeschooling and motherhood journeys.
This group is focused towards school-aged children but younger siblings are welcome to come. 🙂

The Summerville Family YMCA is more than a gym. We strive to help youth in our community grow through our many programs we offer. Enjoy being a part of a program that brings home school students from around the area together.

Our vision is to support children to develop an appreciation for each other and nature, so that they grow into dedicated leaders and environmental stewards in their communities.

The Outdoor Explorers mission is to cultivate curiosity, compassion, and connection with nature. In a time where computer and cell phone use is so prevalent, we believe it’s important to get kids unplugged from technology and reconnected with nature.

Our program is an outdoor based program held on Tuesday and Thursday 10am-2pm. The program is an 8 week session. Classes include P.E., gardening, animal study, exploring outdoors, animal tracking, storytelling, nature skills & crafts, and lots of fun and play!

$50 per week for Members

$70 per week for non-Members

$50 Registration Fee

***Must sign up for whole quarter. Payment arrangements are available (must be scheduled weekly). There are no refunds if students do not finish the whole semester.
