This group is an effort to build up a community of homeschoolers in the Easley, South Carolina area. We will have weekly park meet ups on most Fridays, random park meet ups whenever anyone is in the mood (anyone can initiate a park meet up! Just make a post!), and offer field trips that we can all go on together. There is no expectation for level of participation, but the more people we can get to participate the better and more enriching the group will be! We look forward to getting to know everyone and journeying through this homeschool life together!

South Brunswick Christian Homeschoolers (formerly CACHE)

Location:

Pee Dee

Description:

We are a local homeschool support group, here to help meet the needs of families choosing parent-directed home education as an alternative to public or private schools.
We exist to help families connect to each other, share events or opportunities, and support each other on the homeschooling journey. Our activities frequently take place between Little River and Shallotte, but sometimes extend farther out.
We come from many denominational backgrounds and homeschool for varied reasons. Beyond homeschooling, our common bond is our desire to honor the Lord GOD through our families and the education of our children, as we uphold biblical principles.
ANY homeschooling family is welcome to join us for any activity, please just understand upfront the majority of the members are coming from a Christian background/worldview - many of our meetings and events will open with prayer and our discussions and and encouragement will often include prayer, etc.
Group members are invited to plan field trips, classes, etc., as they meet their own families' needs, and share any open opportunities with the group. Just like a family, we function best when everyone does a little bit!
