For the Social

For The Social is a small group of ages 9 and under (most activities are focused toward kids ages 5 to 9) where everyone does their own curriculum but get together regularly for social activities such as field trips, play dates, park dates, and holiday parties. Majority of the events are held in Greenville and the surrounding areas.
For The Social Spartanburg

Kids can have the experience of a class room without the walls of one. We are the un-co-op co-op.
For The Social Spartanburg is a small group of ages 3 to 8, where everyone does their own curriculum but we get together regularly for social activities such as field trips, play dates, park dates, and holiday parties. Events are held in Spartanburg and surrounding areas. (For older children or in the Greenville area, check out our For The Social Greenville group.)
Our ultimate goal is to create a core group of friends to do homeschool life with year after year so our children and parents both can have lasting and supportive friendships.
Since For The Social is looking to build close relationships and have a very active group at this time we have limited spaces.

Freeform Secular Learning Cooperative

Inspired by homeschool co-ops but not just for homeschoolers, Freeform Secular Learning Cooperative aims to bring people together for extra learning experiences. How -- you may ask? In a very casual way. Our goal is to get people together for networking and occasionally to learn something (if nothing else, we're working on our social-emotional skills). We want you to find your peeps and maybe, just maybe, go off and make your own cute co-op.
What this group aims to deliver:
An unhosted event every Friday and Saturday.

- And then you get your socializing on. Good luck!
In true co-op spirit, if you're interested in teaching something, let us know. You can leave a note in the event comments -- like "Hey, bring your iPads for this one and I'll teach you how to design and print your own t-shirts online!").
An important note: don't leave your little ones unattended. This is not one of those awesome drop-off co-ops -- this one is casual... free... unhosted.. ok, you got it.
